Lamar E. Wilson, 49, of Seville, died Wednesday at his Seville home.

A native of Swainsboro, Ga., Mr. Wilson had lived in Seville for 43 years. He was a citrus foreman for the McBride Packing Co. in Seville, a veteran of World War II, a member of the First Baptist Church of Seville and the Volusia County Farm Bureau.

Mr. Wilson is survived by his wife, Luebell, and two sons, Lavon and Raymond, all of Seville; two sisters, Mrs. Hilda Langford of Samsula and Mrs. Wynell Wilson of Dade City; and one aunt, Mrs. Gladys Cowart of Ocala.

Funeral services for Mr. Wilson will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the First Baptist Church of Seville, with Rev. Murray Teuton and the Rev. Ronnie McKenzie officiating. Burial will be in Seville Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Rudy Smith, Lester Stone, Jr., Corbett Mew, C. W. Mew, Richard Yelvington, James Robinson, Jr., Victor Cowart and Harold Griffen.

Honorary pallbearers are: Myrl Henry, Tom Hurlburt, John Peterson, Bill Hester, Jimmy Conrad, Tommy Olson, Billy Keebler, Jim Robinson, Sr., Claude Yelvington, Dave Parker and Bud Darling.

The Allen-Summerhill Funeral Home, DeLand, is in charge of arrangements.
