Mildred Emma "Aunt Pud" Prevatt was born March 18, 1915 in Baxley, GA. She passed away Saturday, July 28, 2012 at the Hospice Center in Jacksonville, FL. She was 97 years old.

Predeceased by husband, George Prevatt; son, Harry Prevatt; sisters Nadine White, Dot McCormick, Grace Newman, Emily (her twin sister) Wells, Ina Gamble, and Lenora Deen; brothers Cleo Waters, and Monroe Waters.

Survivors include son, Larry Olan (Cheryl) Prevatt, Jacksonville and daughter-in-law, Pat Prevatt of Waycross, GA. She was the grandmother of six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren; Also numerous nieces and nephews in the Seville area.

She was a seamstress and a member of Elk Lodge and Shriners Club in Jacksonville, FL. Favorite pastime was traveling to all of the 50 United States and other places with her late husband. She also loved playing BINGO.

The family will receive friends one hour before the funeral. Funeral will be held Saturday, August 4, 2012 at 11:00 am at the First Baptist Church in Seville, FL. Burial will follow the services at the Seville Cemetery.
