John A. Silcott

John A. Silcott, 81, of Boxwood Lane, who retired as a New York City Policeman, died Monday at Flagler Pines Nursing Home, Bunnell.

Mr. Silcott, a Navy veteran of World War II, moved here from his birthplace, New York City. He was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus, AARP and the Retired New York City Policeman's Association. He enjoyed watch repairs, mechanical repairs, gardening and carpentry.

Survivors include a daughter, Patricia Silcott, the Bronx, N.Y.; a brother, James Osborne, Starsdale; N.Y.; and a grandchild.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 4600 Belle Terre Parkway, Palm Coast, FL 32164.
