John was born in Greenwich, CT on May 23, 1940, son of John and Kay Seeley.

John and wife Sheila were residents of Palm Coast since 2000 after retiring from a long career with Carpenter Steel in 1999. Through the years, John and the Seeley family called several places home including Framingham MA, Alton Bay NH, Houston TX, and Barrington IL, before moving to Palm Coast. Many friends and memories were made along the way.

Retirement was filled with an abundance of activities including lots of golf, social activities with friends and neighbors in Grand Haven, sunshine on the beach, breakfast with his buddies, memberships at the Elks & VFW, time with family and grandchildren, and a never ending list of adventures and shenanigans with Sheila. Retirement was about as good as it gets!

John is survived by his three sons Michael (Ronda) Seeley, Brian (Jennifer) Seeley, and Jim (Ann) Seeley and grandchildren Brianna, Samantha, and John; sisters Dara (Mike) Mosher and Jill (Robin) Raj.

He was preceded in death by his wife Sheila, parents John and Kay, and sister Diane.

Memorial donations may be made in John's name to Stuart F. Meyer Hospice house, 150 Memorial Medical Pkwy., Palm Coast, FL 32164.
