Anna Kersey Whitten, 77, of St. Augustine, died March 13, 2006 at St. Lukes Hospital in Jacksonville. Mrs. Whitten was a native and lifelong resident of Hastings. Mrs. Whitten was a retired seamstress and dry cleaning plant owner.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Friday at Pellicer Creek Cemetery with the Rev. David Shokes, officiating. Visitation will be held 5-8 p.m. today at Craig Funeral Home.

Mrs. Whitten is survived by her sons, Jack Wetherington and Wayne Wetherington, both of Jacksonville, Clifford Wetherington and George Wetherington, both of St. Augustine and Russ Wetherington, Winter Haven; 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; one brother, Theodore Kersey, Hastings; two sisters, Gianetta Lookabill, Indianapolis, Ind., and Stella Wells, Pomona Park; nieces and nephews.

Craig Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.
