V. M. Tindall Dies; Services To Be Tuesday


Van McDonald Tindall, 82, Route 3, died Sunday in Flagler Hospital, A native of Conway, S.C., he had resided here most of his life.

He was a member of the McDowell Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m., Tuesday, at the chapel of the Craig Funeral Home, with the Rev. Warren Frederick, pastor of McDowell Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Pellicer Creek Cemetery. Friends may call at the Craig chapel from 5 to 9 p.m., today.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Catherine Stewart, Jacksonville, Mrs. Patricia White, Augusta, Ga., Mrs. Charlotte Thompson, Orlando; two sons, Winston (Fritz) Tindall, Ft. Myers, J. D. Tindall, St. Augustine; eight grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and one great-­great-grandchild

Craig Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
