	          Bunnell, Florida

	        Stanley I. Thompson, 61, died Friday, December 22, at his home on U. S.  Highway One, 15 miles north of Bunnell. He was found dead in bed by his wife  when she went to call him to breakfast Friday morning. His death was attributed  to a heart attack. 
	          
	          Mr. Thompson has been a resident of Flagler County for a number of years,  owning and operating a filling station at his home, and owned considerable  timber property in that section of the county.
  
	          He was a native of England, being born in London, but had lived in the United  States for many years.
	          
	          Funeral services were held Tuesday at Pellicer Creek Cemetery where he was  buried, with Garcia Funeral Home of St. Augustine in charge of arrangements.
	          
	          Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Agnes Thompson and one daughter, Mrs. Agnes  Cole of Miami; one sister, Mrs. Nellie Nichols of Birmingham, England; three  brothers, Jack of the U. S. Navy; Lorenzo and Robert in England. Also one  grandchild of Miami.
