Ellsworth Theodore "Teddy" Thomas, Jr., 54, passed from this life too soon on Aug. 15, 2006. Born March 21, 1952 in St. Augustine, Teddy worked hard all his life, but always had a ready smile and time for a good joke. No one was a stranger to Teddy. He had a heart of gold and many, many friends. He was a wonderful caring and loving son, brother, husband, father, and grandfather.

He is survived by his wife Brenda; his mother and stepfather, Maidie and Vic Fazio, Sr.; sons, James Theodore (Christy) Thomas, Matthew Theodore Thomas and Gage Theodore Thomas, all of St. Augustine; sister, Gwen (Butch) Schultz; daughter, Lisa Brame; stepsister, Stacey (John) Oldham; stepbrother, Victor M. Fazio, Jr.; aunts, Erma Thomas of St. Augustine and Willie Mae Allen of Hilliard, Fla.; uncles, Rev. Ira Thomas of Lake City, Rev. Woodrow Thomas of Margate, Fla., Mario (Clara) Taylor and Gene (Linda) Taylor; grandson, Jonathan Theodore Thomas; one niece, two nephews and many cousins and extended family members.

Teddy was preceded in death by his father, Ellsworth Theodore Thomas, Sr.; grandparents, Will and Carmen Taylor, and Luke and Eva Thomas; daughter, Storm Thomas; and stepbrother, Nick Fazio.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m. today at Craig Funeral Home followed by burial at Pellicer Creek Cemetery.
