William R. Pringle Sr., age 86, of St. Augustine, Fla., died Dec. 13, 2011, at the Bailey Family Center for Caring. He was born in Espanola, Fla., and was a longtime resident of St. Augustine. He owned and operated Pringle Concrete Service and Finishing. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was the son of the late Harry and Martha (Yelvington) Pringle.

Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Friday at Pellicer Creek Cemetery, Dennis Hollingswoth, officiating. Visitation will be held 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Craig Funeral Home.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Vivian; daughters, Vicky Pringle Hollingsworth and Katherine M. Pringle; all of St. Augustine, Fla.; son and daughter-in-law, William "Billy" and Bonnie Pringle Jr. Jacksonville, Fla.; sister, Pearl Mier, St. Augustine, Fla., four grandchildren, Billy and Justin Pringle, Jeri Hollingsworth and Kristyan Greene.

Craig Funeral Home Crematory Memorial Park is in charge of the arrangements.
