Baxley - Richard Lee Platt Sr., 53, died August 11, 2005.

Survivors: wife, Cherry Platt; daughter, Angela Platt; sons, Richard "Ricky" Platt and Jason Platt; parents, Nathan and Ruth Platt; sister, Janice Jackson; brother, Charles Edward Platt.

Funeral: 4 p.m. Sunday from the First United Methodist Church. Burial: 11 a.m. Monday at Pellicer Creek Cemetery. Swain Funeral Home, Inc., August 14, 2005.
