		      Final  Rites Held On Friday For Mr. Pellicer
		      
		      Funeral  services for Rubert J. Pellicer were held Friday afternoon in the chapel of  the Garcia Funeral home, 2:30 o'clock with the Rev. C. T. Howes, pastor of  United Methodist Church in Hastings, and the Rev. T. O. Baldwin, pastor of the  First Baptist Church, Hastings, officiating. 
		      
		      Active  pallbearers were Roy Sykes, Barnes: West, Russell and Hubert Higginbotham,  George Bench, J. W. Barnes. 
		      
		      Honorary  pallbearers were Adrine and Palmer Beach, T. A. Masters, Sterling Andrew,  Wayne Brown, Douglas Hartley, Will DuPont, D. W. McElveen, Bert Badger, Paul  Little, Joe Flake, B. E. Nearing, Raphael Sanchez, J. C. Higginbotham, Charnel  Campbell, Ben Padgett, Bob Lovett, L. O. Davis Jr., Fred Kaisee, E. B. Bowles,  Gerald Allen, Frank Driggers, Adrian Maltby, W. F. Byrd, Carmen Brubaker,  Clarence Prevatt and Ed Keller. 
		      
		      Burial  was made in the family lot in Pellicer Creek Cemetery. 
		      
		      Mr.  Pellicer, 72, of' Hastings, was a native of St. Johns County. He passed away  Wednesday evening. 
		      
		      Survivors  include two brothers, Harry F. Pellicer, and Walter Pellicer, both of Hastings;  two aunts, Mrs. Ketus Johnson of Bunnell and Mrs. Minnie Morrison of Hastings  and a number of nieces and nephews.
