	          Edward Leroy Pellicer of Bunnell, who was injured here in an accident on  August 13, 1957, died Saturday morning in the State Hospital in Chattahoochee. 
	          
	          Mr. Pellicer received a brain injury when he was struck on the head by a  racing horse fourteen months ago. He never regained consciousness after the  accident. He received treatment at the local hospital, the Halifax Hospital in  Daytona Beach, Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, and also a Nursing Home in  Orange City before being admitted to the State Hospital for treatment.
	          
	          Mr. Pellicer is a life long resident of Flagler County and was engaged in  the farming industry in the St. Johns Park Section. He was 45 years of age.
	          
	          Graveside funeral services were held at the Pellicer Creek Cemetery at two  o'clock Monday afternoon with Rev. E. L. Buzbe officiating. Local arrangements  were under the direction of Craig Funeral Home.
	          
	          Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ethel, Pellicer; one son, Eddie Pellicer;  one daughter, Mrs. Claude Tanner; his mother, Mrs. Mattie Pellicer; three sisters,  Mrs. Beatrice Cockrell, Mrs. Louise Hatcher, and Mrs. Peggy Salyerds; five  brothers, Claude, Milton, J. B., Herschel, and Hubert, all of Bunnell. . Also  surviving are two grandchildren. 
	          
	          Pallbearers were Hoke Cobb, P, A. Edmonson, Dean Holland, Otis Hunter,  Oliver Cowart, and Paul Forsythe.
