		      Donald "Don" Mitchell Sr., 75, of St.  Augustine, died Sept. 5, 2010, at Flagler Hospital. Born in Red Level, Ala., he  was a longtime resident of Northampton, Pa., and had lived in St. Augustine  since 1958. Don worked in many different occupations, including as a detailer  for Bozard Ford. He was of the Baptist faith.
  
		      He is survived by his daughters, Margaret Brashears and her husband, Eddy, of  Callahan, Fla., Lisa Nelson and her husband, Abe, of St. Augustine, and Lynn  Mitchell of Andalusia, Ala.; sons, Michael Mitchell and his wife, Debra, and  William J. Mitchell, all of St. Augustine; sisters, Gay Mitchell Chapman of St.  Augustine, Mary Williamson of Phenix City, Ala., and Sylvia Hicks of St.  Augustine; a brother, Wayne Mitchell of Red Level, Ala.; 14 grandchildren; and  nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Donald Mitchell  Jr., his wife, Shirley Frey Mitchell, a granddaughter, Christina Nelson, a  brother, Leroy Mitchell, and a sister, Julie Long.
  
		      Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday at St. Johns Family Funeral Home,  with Pastor Abraham Lincoln Nelson Sr. officiating. Interment will follow at  Pellicer Creek Cemetery. A visitation beginning at 1 p.m. Thursday will precede  the service.
  
		      St. Johns Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
