Mrs. Mertie A. Miller of Ormond Beach died Saturday evening in the Halifax Hospital in Daytona Beach following a short illness. She was injured in an automobile accident July 10.

Mrs. Miller, 72 years old, was a native of Hastings and had lived in Flagler county many years before moving to Ormond.

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 from the Baggett-McIntosh Funeral Chapel in Daytona Beach. Interment followed at the Pellicer Creek Cemetery near Hastings.

She is survived by her husband, C. B. Miller, of Ormond Beach; two daughters, Mrs. Sadie McWilliams and Mrs. Lula Fox of Ormond; four sons, Willie Miller, Earl' Miller, and Curtis Miller, all of Ormond.
