Columbus Masters, 89, of St. Petersburg, formerly of Ocala and St. Augustine, died Oct. 3, 2004, at Kindred Hospital, St. Petersburg. He was a native of Hastings and had resided in St. Augustine until 1991 before moving to St. Petersburg. He was a long haul truck driver and was of the Baptist faith.

Services: 2 p.m. Monday at Pellicer Creek Cemetery.

Survivors: His nephew and part-time caregiver, Franklin R. Silcox, Silver Springs.
