		      Norma D. Martin, 77, of East Palatka, died Sunday,  March 3, 2002, at Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville following an extended  illness. 
  
		      She was a native of West Union, W.Va., and had been a resident of East Palatka  for the past 22 years, coming from Alexandria, Va. She had worked as a clerk  and typist at the Pentagon in Washington, D.C. during World War II. 
		    She was a  member of the Disciples of Christ in Deep Valley, W.Va., the Palatka Woman's  Club and the Palatka Duplicate Bridge Club. She enjoyed painting, having  displayed and sold several of her paintings in art shows. 
              
		      She was preceded in death by her parents, Audry and Nina Dotson; two brothers,  Fred McKendry Dotson and Looman Dotson; and two sisters, Clarice Cross and  Pauline Gilmer. 
              
		      She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Sid Martin of East Palatka; one son  and daughter-in-law, Owen and Diane Martin of Palatka; one sister, Mattie E.  Flint of Annandale, Va; two grandsons, William Martin and Robert Martin, both  of Palatka; and numerous nieces and nephews. 
              
		      Funeral services and Video Tribute will be 10 a.m. Thursday, March 8, 2002 at  Masters Funeral Home of Palatka with the Rev. Ben Tippett officiating. Burial  will follow in Pellicer Creek Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home  from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday.
