Robert ``Buck'' Hunter, 67 of Jacksonville, died Wednesday, Aug. 9, 2000 at Shands Jacksonville. He was a native of St. Augustine, retired as a chief in the U.S. Navy and later worked for Western Southern Life Insurance Company, where he retired after 20 years as a district manager.

Graveside services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Tuesday at Pellicer Creek Cemetery. Visitation is set for be 5-8 p.m. Monday at Craig Funeral Home.

Survivors include his wife, Gretchen ``Tinnie'' Hunter; one daughter, Monica Mihalik of Jacksonville; two sons, Robert Michael Hunter of Hastings and Time Hunter of Jacksonville; his mother, Edna Hunter of Elkton; one sister, Joyce Dupont, and one brother, Sid Martin, both of Federal Point; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Craig Funeral Home is in charge.
