Mrs. Irene M. Hughey
Mrs. Irene May Hughey, 61, Route 1 Box 160, East Palatka, died Sunday at her home after a long illness. She was a native of Hastings and had been a resident of East Palatka for the past 27 years, coming from Hastings.
She was a member of the Baptist faith and was a 1940 graduate of Hastings High School.
Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Pellicer Creek Cemetery with the Rev. Edward Straner officiating. Friends may call at the chapel of the Masters Funeral Home, Palatka, from 6 to 9 p.m., today.
Survivors include her husband, William E. Hughey of East Palatka; two daughters, Miss Sandra Hughey and Miss Cherylene Hughey, both of East Palatka; one son, William Hughey of East Palatka; three sisters, Mrs. Rose Stevens of St. Augustine, and Mrs. Dorothy Mesuita and Miss Loretta Kersey, both of Hastings; and two brothers, Clyde Kersey and Harold Kersey, both of Hastings.
Masters Funeral Home, Palatka, is in charge of arrangements.
