ELMO THOMAS HIGDON

Elmo Higdon, 85, St. Augustine, died Dec. 7, 1998, at Flagler Hospital. She was born in Cartersville, and she was a lifelong resident of St. Johns County. She was retired from Zoric Laundry, and she was a member of Victory Tabernacle.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Victory Tabernacle, with the Rev. Homer Brown, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Pellicer Creek Cemetery. Friends may call at Craig Funeral Home chapel from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday.

Survivors include one son, Ollie Jerome Higdon, Sr , Sandersville, Ga.; two sisters, her twin sister, Erma Thomas, St. Augustine, Willie Mae Allen, Hillard; two brothers, the Rev. Ira A. Thomas, Lake City, the Rev. Woodrow W. Thomas, Margate; 13 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
