	          Bill  Godwin Dies; Services Are Friday 
	          
	          Willie  (Bill) Godwin, 77, 22 Sixth St., Ponce de Leon Heights, died Wednesday afternoon  in the VA Hospital, Gainesville. He was a native of Hastings, and a lifelong  resident of Hastings and St. Augustine. 
	          
	          He  was a retired employee of St. Johns County. He was a veteran of World War I,  having served in the U.S. Army. 
	          
	          Funeral  services will be held at 4 p.m., Friday, at the chapel of the Craig Funeral  Home, with the Rev. Harvey A. Hartman, pastor of Memorial Lutheran Church,  officiating. Burial will be in Pellicer Creek Cemetery. Friends may call at the  Craig chapel from 4 p.m. today. 
	          
	          Survivors  include two daughters, Mrs. Sallie Eastmoore, Dunwoody, Ga., Mrs. Elizabeth  Inman, Williston; a son, M. Gy. Sgt. Johnny Godwin, USMC, stationed in Okinawa;  a step-daughter, Mrs. Millie King, St. Augustine; two sisters, Mrs. Maude  Yelvington, Mrs. Hazel Blanchard, both of St. Augustine; a brother, Alton  Godwin, High Springs; six grandchildren; a niece, Mrs. Johnny Pappy, St.  Augustine; and one nephew, Harmond Blanchard, Lake City. 
	          
	          Craig  Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
