		    Inez Lee Germain, 69, of St. Augustine, passed away  on Feb. 14, 2011, at the Bailey Center for Caring at Flagler Hospital. She was  born in Jacksonville but had lived in St. Augustine for most of her life. Inez  worked for the City of St. Augustine for 30 years and was the city’s lone meter  maid for many years. Most recently she worked as a clerk in the finance  department. A skilled athlete, she played softball and competed in many bowling  leagues through the years.
                
		      She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Paul Germain Sr., her son,  Walter Paul Germain Jr., and her longtime companion, Alton Kersey.
  
		      She is survived by her daughters, Melinda Germain of St. Augustine and Dienna  Butler and her husband, Edward, of Cocoa, Fla.; a brother, James Roy Leggett  and his wife, Gisela, of St. Augustine; and grandsons, Aaron White and Kaelan  Germain.
  
		      A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 19, 2011, at  Pellicer Creek Cemetery, with the Rev. Craig Eby officiating. A visitation will  take place from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at St. Johns Family Funeral Home.
