A. J. Eatman, life-long resident of this section of Florida, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Anita McDermott in Jacksonville Tuesday morning after a short illness.

Mr. Eatman lived in the north­eastern section of the county, near the St. Joseph community and conducted a trucking business.

Surviving are his daughter, Mrs. McDermott of Jacksonville; one sister, Mrs. Alec Pickett of Ocala; two brothers, Ed Eatman of this county; Moody Eatman of Cordele, Georgia, and Roscoe Eatman of Albany, Georgia.

Funeral services were held and interment made at Pellicer Creek Cemetery Wednesday, Rev. Wall of Jacksonville had charge of the funeral service, with Rev. J. M. Devette of Bunnell, assisting.
