Maurice Wray Durrance
		    
Maurice Wray Durrance, 67,   died at his residence, Sept. 17, 2003, after an extended illness. He was born in   St. Augustine, and had been a lifelong resident of St. Johns County, living   first in St. Augustine and then in Hastings.
		    
Mr. Durrance was a leather   artist and specialized in creating and crafting Native American clothing. He was   very active in the Native American Pow Wow circuit.. He was also honorably   discharged from the United States Army after serving during peacetime.
		    
Mr. Durrance was preceded in   death by his parents, William Hilton Durrance and Ida Elizabeth Dupont.
		    
He is survived by his loving   wife of 45 years, Peggy Marie Durrance, Hastings; 3 daughters and sons-in-law,   Millicent and Matthew Jernigan, Bostwick, Donnette and Jimmy McCallun, Ormond   Beach, and Katherine Reynolds, Jacksonville; 2 brothers Mitchell Durrance,   Hastings, James Kevin Durrance and his wife Mary; one sister, Charlotte Durrance   Jarvis, St. Augustine; seven grandchildren, Danny LeBlanc, St. Augustine,   Brendan Carlisle, Hastings, Christopher and Natalie Durrance, Daytona Beach,   Lorie Ward, Daytona Beach, Joshua Durrance, Ormond Beach, Heather Reynolds,   Jacksonville, and Tiffany Durrance, Hastings; 3 great-grandchildren, Gabby,   Taylor, Trowa Sai.
		    
Memorial Services will be   held Saturday, Sept. 27, 2003 at 10 a.m. at the Masters Funeral Home Chapel in   Palatka, with Rev. Eddie Frantz officiating.
		    
The family will receive   friends at their home located at 9705 Quinn Ave, in Flagler Estates from noon   until 2 p.m. following the service. Burial will be private at a later date.   Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer
