James "J.D." Dupont

James "J..D." Dupont, 71, Jacksonville and Palm Coast, died March 17, 2002, at Shands Hospital in Jacksonville. He was born in Flagler County. He was an over-the-road truck driver and an avid outdoorsman.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Pellicer Creek. Visiting hours are from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday.

Survivors include four sisters: Celia Slack, Palm Coast, Margie Barneschi, Wellington Conn., Melinda Clemons, St. Augustine, and Ruth Romero, Sale Creek, Tenn..; one brother: Russell Dupont, St. Augustine and his longtime companion Lorene Baines.

Craig Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.
