Funeral services were held on August 20 at the Pellicer Creek Cemetery for Mrs. Mercyan DuPont, 71, who died late the day before at her home in the northeast corner of Flagler County.

The Rev. M. H, Norton, pastor of the First Methodist Church of St. Augustine, conducted the funeral service.

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Seth Carter of Jacksonville; four sons, Ellis DuPont, Lee DuPont and Jack DuPont, of this county, Horace DuPont of Daytona Beach; one Sister, Mrs. Ashley Dyal of Callahan; four brothers, Lee Osteen of Fort Myers; Alex Osteen of Pom­pano; T. B. Osteen and Roy Osteen of Daytona Beach.
