THE ST. AUGUSTINE RECORD
		      St. Augustine, Florida
		      April 22, 2011

John Currier, on April 17, 2011, the world lost a true confidant and friend in John Currier. Simply known as "Currier" by those closest to him, John ditched the cold White Mountains of New Hampshire and settled into sunny St. Augustine in 2004. Soon after, he met his wife, Maggie, and settled into a slower, more grounded way of life.

Currier had a larger-than-life personality that made him both unforgettable and endearing. He complimented his temperament with a vast sport's knowledge (well, vast New England sports knowledge we should say!) and never was afraid to speak his mind. John enjoyed fishing, hanging out with friends, and the finer things in life. His dream was to help people; at the time of his death he was pursuing a degree in business management, focusing his studies in the social services realm at St. Johns River State College. He was a decorated and beloved fraud investigator at CitiBank in Jacksonville, Fla. He is, and will be truly missed from now and the many years to come.

John is survived by his wife, Maggie Kasten-Currier (St. Augustine); his two pugs, Lannie and Bruschi; his parents Kevin and Lynn McDonough (Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla.) and healthy family of sisters: Marissa Branca Beardsley (Maryland), Veronica Branca (New Paltz, N.Y.), Alexis Branca (Miami, Fla.), Shainna Kasten (St. Augustine) and Dawn Marie Currier (Nashua) as well as brothers: Cliff Currier (Nashua), Kevin Wright (New Paltz, N.Y.), and Michael Phillips (Nashua).

Funeral Services are scheduled for Wednesday, April 27, 2011, at 6 p.m. at Craig Funeral Home.
Craig Funeral Home Crematory Memorial Park is in charge of the arrangements.
