		      Colby John Crowley, 3, son of Todd and Deborah  Crowley of East Palatka, went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 1, 2013  following a 14-month-long battle with cancer.
  
		      He was born in Gainesville, on Jan. 29, 2010. In his short time here, Colby  became an inspiration to not only his family but to his medical caregivers and  the many caring individuals in the community who ministered to the needs of his  family. Colby was adventurous and was intrigued by emergency vehicles of any  type, especially helicopters. Among other things Colby enjoyed doing were  puzzles, "collecting monies," walking in the yard with his dad,  playing with his animals (three dogs and cats), watching "Fireman  Sam,"" Noodle and Doodle" and "Elmo." Some of his  favorite foods were pork skins, popcorn, M&Ms and shell peanuts.
  
		      Preceding him in death were his grandparents, Viola Wiley, Claudia Thompson,  Berry S. Thompson II and James B. Mooney.
  
		      In addition to his parents, Colby is survived by three brothers, Justin  Crowley, U.S. Marine Corps, Noah Crowley and Luke Crowley, both of Clermont,  his grandparents, Edward Wiley, and Leona and Theodore Cloer, all of Palatka  and Marion Crowley and Michael Crowley, both of Carmel, Calif., his aunts and  uncles, Patsy McFarland (Kay), Susie Cargile (Linzy), Cathy Stephens (Steve),  Tiffany Bourgeois, Colleen McGonigal (Huff), Corey Crowley (Julie), Berry S.  Thompson III (April) and Dale Brooks (Judy) and his cousins, Mila and Ciel  McGonigal.
  
		      Graveside services celebrating Colby's life will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March  6 at Pellicer Creek Cemetery in St. Johns County with Pastors Chuck Coburn and  Wes Taylor officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at  Johnson-Overturf Funeral Home in Palatka.
  
		      Flowers are gratefully accepted or memorial donations may be made in Colby's  memory to the Tom Coughlin Jay Fund, P.O. Box 50798, Jacksonville, FL  32240-0798, which assists families with a childhood cancer with both financial  and emotional support. 
  
		      Arrangements are under the direction of Johnson-Overturf Funeral Home in  Palatka.
