August 28, 2011James W. Carroll, 56, Hastings, died unexpectedly on Aug. 21, 2011, at Flagler Hospital.
He was born in Indianapolis, Ind., and had resided here for the past 15 years, moving here from Orlando. He owned and operated James W. Carroll Tractor Services Inc.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2011, at St. Johns Family Funeral Home.
Interment will follow in Pellicer Creek Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 29, 2011, at St. Johns Family Funeral Home.
He is survived by three children, Angela Carroll, Deltona, James W. Carroll Jr., Palatka, and Caleb Tyler Carroll, Macclenny; one brother, Tony Carroll, Leesburg; and two grandchildren, Katelyn and Hunter Carroll.
St. Johns Family Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
