Ethel Pellicer Burkley

Ethel Pellicer Burkley was born in Russellville, Ky., in 1918 and moved to Flagler County in 1935. She married Leroy Pellicer who passed away in 1958. Later Ethel married Paul Burkley. Paul passed away in 1998. Ethel was a loving homemaker and long time member of the Westside Baptist Church.

She is survived by her son, Edward L. Pellicer; daughter, Betty June Pellicer; sister, Aline Hodges; brother, James McFarland; three grandchildren, Cindy Brooks, Wayne Tanner, and Melanie Allen; four great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson; three stepsons, and Larry, Charles and Richard Burkley.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Pellicer Creek Cemetery with Pastor Steve Dann of Flagler West Community Baptist Church officiating.
