Mrs. Bennett Dies; Services Will Be Friday

Mrs. Marie Elizabeth Higdon Bennett, 33, 72 Sanford St., died Wednesday in Macclenny. She was a native and lifelong resident of St. Augustine.

She attended the Apostolic Christian Church.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, at the chapel of the Craig Funeral Home, with the Rev. Jack Mesuita officiating. Burial will be in Pellicer Creek Cemetery. Friends may call at the Craig chapel from 5 to 9 p.m., today.

Survivors include her husband, James Bennett, St. Augustine; her mother, Mrs. Elmo Thomas Higdon, St. Augustine; one daughter, Tracey Joan Bennett, St. Augustine; two sons, Rebel J. Bennett, Kingsland, Ga., Travis J. Bennett, St. Augustine; two stepsons, Terry and Michael Bennett, both of St. Augustine; two brothers, Rex Y. Higdon Jr., Augusta, Ga., Ollie J. Higdon, Kingsland; seven aunts, two uncles and a number of nieces and nephews.

Craig Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
