Shari Lee Kah Young

Shari Lee Kah Young died peacefully on December 21st at the Stuart F. Meyer Hospice House. She was born on October 28, 1934 in Middletown, Ohio.

Shari graduated from Middletown High School and Miami University where she was a member of Alpha Sigma Alpha Sorority. As a young woman, she was active in Rainbow Girls, White Shrine and Eastern Star. She began her teaching career in Northern Ohio, and after many years, moved to Florida and settled in Palm Coast during its early development. She taught 4th grade, tutored and taught water aerobics at Arbor Trace. She was a member of AAUW and the Palm Coast Yacht Club when her late husband was the Commodore.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Zelma and Ralph Kah and her husband, Irving Young.
She is survived by her brother, Ralph Kah, MD and wife, DeeAnn and sister, Zelma Kathryn Sandberg and husband, Louis, three nieces, great nieces and nephews and special friend, Charles Kidd.

A graveside service will be held at the Flagler-Palms Memorial Gardens on Friday, January 8th at 11 AM. Reception following the service at Arbor Trace Clubhouse.
