Matthew C Terlizzo passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, December 4th at the age of 76.

He leaves behind his wife of 38 years, Kathleen, his brother James, his fraternal aunt Yolanda Terlizzo of Stamford, CT and his cousin, Kathleen Uva of Southbury CT. He is further survived by his loving godson, Brandon Korpacz and his sister Katie Korpacz of Ellicott City, MD and his goddaughter, Julianne Wilson Walsh of Holliston, Massachusetts.

Matthew was born and raised in Stamford, CT and graduated from St. Michael’s College in Colchester, VT. Matthew was a longtime resident of Fairfax County, VA. He spent all of his professional life working within the intelligence community, 10 years with the CIA and then working for companies contracting with the agency.

He retired in 2004 from Lockheed Martin and relocated to Palm Coast, FL.

A funeral mass will be celebrated at Santa Maria del Mar Catholic Church, 915 N.Central Ave., Flagler Beach, FL., on Friday, December 7, 2018 at 11:00 AM. Entombment will follow in Flagler Palms Memorial Gardens. A reception will be held in the café of Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home, 511 Old Kings Road S. Flagler Beach immediately following the entombment.

In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Memphis, TN.
