FLAGLER BEACH - Bailey Thomas Settle, 3, of Ocean Palm Drive, the son of Kathleen "Kate" and Stephen Settle, died Thursday at Florida Hospital­Flagler, Palm Coast, as the result of a drowning.

Bailey was born in Alexandria, Va., and moved here in 2003 from Washington, D.C. He was a student at Bunnell Elementary School and the Therapeutic Learning Center, St. Augustine.

Additional survivors include a brother, Hampton, Flagler Beach; two sisters, Lauren Settle, Las Vegas, and Sandra Biggs, Linton, Va.; his paternal grandparents, Carlton and Elizabeth Settle, Lothian, Md.; his maternal grandfather, David Fenner, Hampton, N.H.; and his maternal great-grandmother, Catherine Fenner, Manchester, N.H.
