Memorial service celebrating the life of James Arthur Rowe (Ret. Colonel, U.S. Air Force), 57, Palm Coast, will be held Monday, February 18, at 10:30 a.m. in the chapel of Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home, 511 Old Kings Road S., Flagler Beach, with the Rev. Harry Gilman officiating. Full military honors will be rendered by the U.S. Air Force Honor Guard. The family will receive friends Monday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home.

Mr. Rowe, a resident of Palm Coast since June 1, 2003 coming from Ocean Springs, Miss., passed away at his residence Friday, February 15, 2008. He was born in Atlanta, Ga., on October 13, 1950, a son of the late William Arthur and Bille Gay O'Daniel Rowe.

He served in the US Air Force as a lawyer for the Judge Advocate General for over 22 years. He was a member of the Palm Coast United Methodist Church, The South Carolina Bar Association and the United States Golf Association. An avid golfer, he also enjoyed computers and being with his family especially his grandchildren, Jay and Mia.

Surviving are his loving wife of 36 years, Deborah (Mayfield) Rowe; daughter, Courtney Davis, Ocean Springs, Miss.; his son, Christopher Rowe, Palm Coast; two grandchildren, Jay and Mia Davis; sister, Melanie Smith, Shelby, N.C.; and two brothers, Richard Rowe, Rock Hill, S.C., and William Rowe, Ft. Mill, S.C.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society, 1620 S. Clyde Morris Blvd., Daytona Beach, FL.
