Cyril Prince

Cyril was born on February 9, 1930 and passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2016. He was a resident of Palm Coast, Florida at the time of his passing.  

He worked in a regional management position for OTB in New York. He proudly served and retired as one of the first black firefighters in the Panama Canal Zone. Additionally, he worked as a master electrician before moving to this area in 1989 from Westbury, Long Island, where he was very active politically and with the Kiwanis Club.  

While in Palm Coast, he served as President of the Hispanic American Club. Cyril had a great sense of humor and was known as a jokester and he loved to bowl.  

Cyril is survived by his wife, Monica, of 57 years; sons, Cy Adriano Prince of Miami, Cyril Prince of New Jersey, Carlos Prince of New York, Alfredo Prince of St. Thomas VI; daughter, Annada Prince of Staten Island, NY; sister, Joan Myrie of Brooklyn, NY; along with several grandchildren, great grandchildren and host of friends.  

Cyril was predeceased by his daughter Shari Prince; sisters, Eva Prince, Millicent Prince, Macil Davie, Mildred Cameron, Yvonne Faison; brothers, Percival Jr., Vernon, Jasper, Oscar and Lester Prince.  

The family of Mr. Prince entrusted the arrangements to Clymer Funeral home & Cremations.
