		      Eleanor Highsmith Hurt, 83, of  Rivers Edge Lane, a resident for 22 years, died Tuesday at the Hospice Care  Center, Port Orange. 
		      
		      Mrs. Hurt, a homemaker, was a  native of Salisbury, N.C., and moved here from Charlotte, N.C. She was a member  of Trinity Presbyterian Church and enjoyed golfing. 
		      
		      Survivors include a son, Clyde C.  Jr., Oxford, Md.; a daughter, Elizabeth Turlington, Cocoa Beach; four  grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. 
		      
		      Memorial donations may be made to  Hospice of Volusia/Flagler, 3800 Woodbriar Trail, Port Orange 32119.
