PALM COAST - Esperenza Gamarra, 64, of Kankakee Trail, a resident since 2002, died Wednesday at Florida Hospital Ormond Memorial.

Mrs. Gamarra, a native of Puerto Rico, came here from Queens, N.Y. She was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church and the Legion of Mary. She enjoyed gardening, volunteer work and traveling.

Survivors include her husband of 41 years, Ricardo; three sons, Ricardo Jr., Orlando, Jonathan, Queens, N.Y., and Pedro, Miami; three brothers, German, Angel and Moncha Malave, all of Puerto Rico; and five grandchildren.

Craig-Flagler Palms, Flagler Beach, is in charge.
