PALM COAST - George T. Blois, 86, of Fleetwood Drive, a retired commercial construction car­penter for Carpenters Local No. 20, Staten Island, N. Y., died Saturday at Grand Oaks Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., Mr. Blois, a Navy veteran of World War II serving in Iwo Jima, came to this area in 1990 from Staten Island. He was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8696. He enjoyed bowling.

Survivors include his Wife of 63 years, Elizabeth "Bette"; three daughters, Lois Kirchner, Chestertown, Md., Renee Stapel­kamp, Staten Island, and Michele Kahaly, Lake Hopatcong, N.J.; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
