Samantha Lee Berrios, age 20, of Palm Coast, passed away in a tragic car accident on November 5, 2022 in Laguna Niguel, California. An active-duty member of the United States Marines Corps, Lance Corporal (LCpl) Samantha Berrios was an Air-Frame Mechanic on Huey & Cobra helicopters.

A funeral service will be held at Clymer Funeral Home & Cremations, 39 Old Kings Rd., N., on Friday November 25, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Jeff Barksdale of Life Coast Church officiating. A visitation will be held before the service from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. Interment with Military Honors will follow in Flagler Palms Memorial Gardens, 511 Old Kings Rd. S., Flagler Beach, FL 32136, after the service.

Samantha was born on October 22, 2002 in Mineola, Long Island, New York. She moved to Palm Coast with her family originally in 2008 and after a five year move back to Long Island, they have resided in Palm Coast since. Samantha joined the Marine Corps, beginning her service on January 31, 2020 – serving her country proudly & faithfully until her untimely passing.

She was loved & respected by all those that new her. Samantha was an “Explorer” - among her favorite things to do were to travel, learn about new cultures and immerse herself in the language, food preparation & customs of where she was going or studying.

Samantha is survived by her mother & father, Nancy & Miguel Berrios; her siblings Briana Berrios, Miguel L. Berrios & James T. Berrios; her grandmother, Elvia Berrios; her beloved family dog, Dexter; many aunts & uncles, cousins & extended family and by many brother & sister Marines and friends.

Samantha’s family have entrusted her arrangements to Clymer Funeral Home & Cremations.
