A funeral mass for Roy Joseph Bellefontaine 89, of Palm Coast, FL. will be celebrated on Saturday, April 2, 2011, 1:00PM at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church 4600 Belle Terre Pkwy Palm Coast. Friends may visit on Saturday, from 12:00PM until time of the service at the church. Interment will be private at Flagler Palms Memorial Gardens.

Roy passed away on Saturday, March 26, 2011 at Florida Hospital Flagler. He was born on March 2, 1922 in Canada to the late Theodore J. and Jean Bellefontaine (Vaughan).

Roy served in the US Navy during WWII serving on the destroyer Fieberling which was attacked by a Kamikaze Pilot. He also served as a machinist instructor for the Navy until he retired in the late 70’s.

In 1988 he and his late wife moved to Palm Coast area from Hudson, New Hampshire. He was a member of the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Roy was an artist who created stained glass art works. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his wife Jeanne A. Bellefontaine in 2009, brother, Alvin Bellefontaine just 2 months ago.

Survivors include his sons, Daniel J. Bellefontaine of Manchester, NH; Richard and his wife Rose Bellefontaine of Fresno, CA; grandchildren, Jimmy, Alex, Justin, Kyle, Joshua and Nathan.

Donations in his memory may be made to the Hospice of Volusia/Flagler.
