AVERILL – Robert Clark Averill, 79, a 19-year resident of Albuquerque, died Saturday, April 14, 2001. He was born on November 26, 1921 in Kenya Colony, East Africa, to James O. and Hulda Averill who were Methodist Missionaries. 

Mr. Averill served in the Royal Canadian Air Force during WW II and also in the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict. 

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Norma D. Averill of Albuquerque; daughters, Pamela Mittman of Palm Coast, FL, Michell Caprio of Portsmouth, VA, and Lisa Averill of Albuquerque; son, James Averill of Lynn, MA; five grandchildren and one great grandchild; sister, Madeline Eastman of Ferndale, WA. 

Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 18, 2001 at Fellowship Baptist Church, Charleston and Bell, SE with Dr. John Blue and Rev. Darrell Kepler officiating. 

Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to the NM Boys and Girls Ranch.
