BUNNELL -- Joseph L. Whitesides, 88, of Bimini Lane, a mechanic, died Friday at Memorial Hospital-Flagler. 

Mr. Whitesides was born in Darien, Ga., and came here 58 years ago from Brunswick, Ga. He was a member of the Brunswick Presbyterian Church and American Legion, both in Brunswick. 

Survivors include his wife, Nadean; a son, Danny, Brunswick; a stepdaughter, Sherry Hucks, and a stepson, Larry Cox, both of Lakeland; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Craig, Palm Coast, is in charge.
