Mrs. Ethel Whetstone, 85, 209 S. Fifth Avenue, Flagler Beach, died Monday morning at an Ormond Beach nursing home.

A native of Pawtucket, R. I. she moved to Flagler Beach 24 years ago from Cranston, R.I. She was a member of the Community Memorial Church, Flagler Beach; and was founder of the Community Memorial Church Ladies Guild.

She is survived by her husband, Harry, Flagler Beach; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were at 2:00 Wednesday afternoon at the Community Memorial Church with the Rev. T. Shelton Brooks, officiating. Interment was in Espanola Cemetery.

Pallbearers were R. L. McNab, Howell Mesnard, Walter Beach, Gilbert Krier, A W. Powers and P. W. Cummins, Jr.

Craig Funeral Home, Bunnell, was in charge.
