Mrs. B. Ruth Watkins, 77, Bacher Street, Bunnell, passed away Sunday, June 15 at Bunnell General Hospital after a lengthy illness.

Mrs. Watkins was born in Blakely, Ga. and moved to Flagler County 15 years ago from Cairo, Ga. She resided at Flagler Beach a number of years before moving to Bunnell. She was a member of the Bunnell First United Methodist Church.

She is survived by four sons, Horace Watkins, Jacksonville; Joe Watkins,  New Smyrna; Rev. L. E. Watkins, Ruskin, Florida and Edsell Watkins, Cairo, Ga.; a sister, Mrs. Irene Rollins, Columbia, Ala.; eleven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were Tuesday afternoon at 2:00 at the Bunnell First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Earle Wilder, pastor, officiating. Interment was at Espanola Cemetery.

Active pallbearers were Joe Watkins, Jr., Charles Watkins, David Watkins, Herman Wat­kins, Charlie Watkins, and Terry Watkins. Honorary pallbearers were Martin B. McDaniel, Jim Townsend, Garner Sanders and Otis Nipper.
