		    Funeral services for E. A. Smoak, who was killed Tuesday  night after being struck by an automobile on while walking along U. S. Highway  1 near National Gardens, was held this afternoon at the graveside in Espanola  cemetery, with Rev. W. W. Rhody, pastor of the First Baptist Church here,  officiating.
		    Mr. Smoak, who was 41 years old, had lived here for 34  years. He was a native of South Carolina, and was engaged in the plumbing and  painting business. 
		    Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Lillian Smoak, of Bunnell; two  sisters, Mrs. D. M. McKenzie of Albany, Ga., and Miss Nina Smoak, of  Jacksonville; and one brother, C. C. Smoak, also of Jacksonville; three aunts,  Mrs. C. E. Currie of Palatka; Mrs. A. H. Baker of Orlando; one uncle, G. E.  Allen of Bunnell.
		    Funeral arrangements were in charge of Haigh and Brooks of  Daytona Beach.
