Helen G. Shamblen, 82, of 1001 Mariposa St., Bunnell, died last Thursday morning in Lake Shore Nursing Home in Crescent City. She had been a Bunnell resident 62 years.

Born in Alexandria, Ind., Mrs. Shamblen moved to Flagler County from Charleston, W.Va.

She was a member of First Baptist Church of Bunnell and past matron of the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 93.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Wilma Brock of Penrose, N.C., and Mrs. Jeannette Meador of Charleston; two sisters; a brother, and four grandchildren.
