		    Graveside services for  Mr. James Henry Salyerds, Sr., 2035 Green St., South Daytona, who passed away  Wednesday night at the Halifax Hospital Medical Center, will be held Saturday  at 11 o’clock a.m. at Espanola Cemetery with Reverend Scott Harris, pastor of  the Riverview United Methodist Church, officiating. 
		      
		      Friends may call and  pay their respects today from 2 until 4 and 6 until 8 p.m. at the Dale Woodward  Funeral Home, Holly Hill.
		      
		      Mr. Salyerds was born  in Flagler County and moved to this area 19 years ago from Bunnell. He was a  retired warrant officer with the U.S. Army, serving in World War II and Korea.  He served under General George Patton with the 2nd Armored Division.
		      
		      He is survived by his  wife, Eleanore; his mother, Mrs. Annie Salyerds, Bunnell; three sons, James H.,  Jr., DeLand, George R., Port Orange, and Joseph E., Holly Hill; two daughters,  Mrs. Delores Allen, Port Orange, and Mrs. Margaret Reynolds, Holly Hill; one  sister, Mrs. Gladys Hardin, Bunnell; one brother, Thomas, Bunnell, nine  grandchildren and three nieces and nephews.
		      
		      Dale Woodward Funeral  Home, 167 Ridgewood Ave., Holly Hill, is in charge of arrangements.
