NEW  SYMRNA  BEACH  -  Word  has  been  received  here  of  the  April  19,  death  of  Bernice  Phillips  Royster,  72,  in  a  hospital  in  Reno,  Nev.,  after  a  lengthy  illness.

Mrs.  Royster came here  from  her  birthplace,  Galva,  Ill.,  in  1925.  She was a graduate of New Smyrna Beach High School.

Survivors  include  a  son;  two  daughters;  a  brother,  Harold  Emery,  Bunnell;  two  sisters,  including  Joyce  Patrick,  Bunnell;  four  grandchildren;  and  two  great  grandchildren.
