Gertrude Rich, 99, longtime resident of Bunnell, died Wednesday, Nov. 5 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Laura R. Harris, St. Augustine.

Born in Bates County, Mo. in 1876, Mrs. Rich moved to Flagler County 63 years ago from Spruce, Mo.

She was a member of the Bunnell First United Methodist Church and The Royal Neighbors of America.

Survivors, other than her daughter, include a granddaughter, Mrs. Eugenia Allen, Bunnell; and a grandson, Chester Alex McKenzie, Calhoun, Ky.; four great grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were Saturday morning at the Craig Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Espanola Cemetery, with the Rev. Logan Whalen officiating.

Pallbearers were Dr. Ben Rawls, Harold Emery, Howard Allen, Reginald Miller, Shelton Barber and O. K. Herr.

Craig Funeral Home, Bunnell, was in charge.
