		    Charles F. Palmquist, 85 years old, died this morning at  four o’clock at his home several miles west of Bunnell. Mr. Palmquist has been  in poor health for several years and his death was not unexpected by his  family.
		    Mr. Palmquist was a native of Gavle, Sweden, coming to the  United States when 24 years of age, locating in Chicago where he resided until  1917 when he came to Flagler County.
		    He is survived by his wife, three sons and one daughter;  Chester of Chicago; Carlton and Earl and Mrs. Dave Salter of Bunnell; two  brothers and one sister, John Palmer and Frank Palmquist and Matilda Palmquist  all of Chicago. Also surviving are .two sons and two daughters of his first  marriage; Charles R., Joseph and Mrs. Ruth Nichols of Chicago and Mrs. C. A.  Short of San Jose, California.
		    Mr. Palmquist was a devout member of the Methodist church  and maintained an active part in church affairs as long as his health would  permit. While residing in Chicago he maintained his membership in the Swedish  branch of the Methodist church and here, the Methodist Church South.
		    Tentative funeral plans are for burial at Espanola Cemetery  probably Saturday; definite arrangements will be made after arrival of his son  Chester from Chicago here Friday.

		    Funeral services for C. F. Palmquist,  85-year-old pioneer resident of this county, were held at Espanola Cemetery  Saturday afternoon at three o’clock with Rev. C. M. Samford, pastor of the  Southern Methodist Church of Daytona Beach, conducting. Mr. Palmquist died last  Thursday morning.
		    Burial was in charge of Carl Davis Funeral Home of Palatka.
		    Pallbearers were Z. G. Holland, Dale B. Brown, Berth  Hamilton, John Buckles, J. F. Mercer and Henry Salyerds.
